Le Centre d’Études Maghrébines de Tunis (CEMAT) invites you to a lecture by Mohamed Mahjoub, Professor of of hermeneutics, history of philosophy and theories of translation at the University of Tunis El Manar, on January 24, 2019, at 4 PM.
About the speaker:
Mohamed Mahjoub is a Professor of Hermeneutics and History of Philosophy at the University of Tunis. He was several times Dean of Academic Institutions in Tunisia. Professor Mahjoub taught in Arabic, French and English and supervised around 30 doctorate researches. He is particularly interested in the fields of Greek and contemporary Philosophy in which he published many books and papers. He translated major philosophical works from English, French and German (Rousseau – Merleau-Ponty – Hume – Ricoeur – Heidegger).
