On 15 November, and for the first time in Tunisian universities we’re running The Spaceathon a 24 hours event of challenges to show your skills at analyising and understanding a project in the field of space, presenting your studies in front of people who work in the field ; and other fun activities .
Join us on IPEIEM to improve your skills and make experiences that will enrich your engineering career through a competition between 20 teams!
Collaborating with “AJST” our club “Dynamic IPEIEM” will supply music, fun and many prizes, also you will be under the supervisory and guidance of our engineers.
CONCEPT OF THE COMPETITION :
* 20 teams will present the last innovation in space through an analysis of the website of a project.
*Each team will be made of 2 to 3 people, they will initially select a project and understand its goals.
*Each team will prepare two presentations regarding the project : one presentation of 5 minutes and an other of 3 minutes in pitching approach.
*The rules and the expected content of the two presentations will be announced in the morning of the event, it is expected that the minimum will to present is the what? Why? How? of the project.
*Every team will have 4hours to prepare their presentations.
*Two separated juries will be attending the presentation in the afternoon.
*The presentations will be recorded and put on the page and will be sent to the Consortia who are implementing the projects.
*Every jury will give a prize.
The event will also include other activities for whoever attending it and not participating in the competition :
* small tournaments (cards, ping pong…)
* magic show
* open mike
Before the debute of the competition, Dr Mekaoui Sabri will have a speech .
After the presentation, and announcing the winning teams, we will throw a party animated by a DJ.
At night :
* a nocturn observation
* projection of astronomy related movies.
* other fun games.
